Scottish Surgical Set, by “Gardner – Edinburgh”, ca. 1860.
The 4 amputation knifes, 3 scalpels (one tip broken) and 2 forceps are marked “Gardner”, the amputation saw not marked but perfectly fit in its slot.
Bone forceps, one scalpel and tourniquet are probably coherent replacements.
Measures of the mahogany box: 43 cm x 13 cm x 7 cm.
