A very nice and unusual Obstetrical Dental Cautery set by the maker “Sir Henry – Coutelier de la Facultè de Medecine de Paris” (a very nice mark of him on the forceps, with his symbol, a cup).
We’ve been able to find a reprint of an old book dedicated to him and his art, dated 1821.
So he was in activity in the very early 1800’s.
There are few empty slots and few coherent replacement in the dental section (I think originally the 2 sets were made by Sir Henry with the instruments of his production and integrated with the Charriere), but definitely a piece of the Paris medical history.
