This great museum has been settled in 1804, during the Napoleonic era, to collect specimen and wax anatomical models. A great improve with addiction of terathologic specimen took place thanksfully to Cesare Taruffi (1821-1902), a young doctor that will become Master at the anatomic University in Bologna (1859)

After several moving now has been stable settled in the Policlinico S. Orsola.  Highlights the wax anatomical models from the second half of 1800's by Cesare Bettini e Giuseppe Astorri
