Italian Amputation Set "Gallo"

A great (even if not complete) Italian amputation set. It's from the maker "Gallo", a top quality Italian maker from Sicily.
Two drawers, the first for amputation, almost complete except a little scalpel, and the second one mostly incomplete (two replacement forceps) with a rare leather bulb with brass stopcock. The pump had many uses, and similar suction and infusion instruments are reproduced in the Benjamin Bell's System of Surgery, published in 1782, and in the Savigny catalogue of the early 1790s.

All the instruments are of top quality and there's a great tourniquet, in working condition.
Measures of the box: 41 cm x 28 cm x 10 cm
