Complete serie of 8 plaster busts, natural sizes (as cast directly over the real babies body) of 8 teratologic cases, prepared by Prof. Winternitz. All in perfect condition, great patina, they’ve been produced in Berlin between late 1800’s and first decade of 1900's by Medicinisches Waarenhaus.
In the reference section below pictures from the reprint of the original catalog (ca. 1910 version) of the factory where they were produced, along with the legenda (also engraved on every model) of the pathology displayed by every model.
Definitely a museum collection, the only other similar collection we’ve been able to locate till now is in the Mutter Museum, the outstanding museum of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
