An unusual Italian Lamp, ca 1950's

A really unusual lamp. It's the engine used to put in action the machine used years ago to repair woman nylon pantyhose. The motor is hide inside a green car shaped metal 'shell', with a great streamline design.

It's signed "VELOX".

And the lamp of course, as always in this kind of machine, was to light the work area.
The machine (missing) was insert in the front hole (with blue rubber edges) and the engine inside transmitted the movement. The 3 front "headlamps" act like rheostats to regulate velocity.
Cord is missing, but at least the lamp circuit should be really easy to be replaced.

The car is long 33 cm.
